Sparkonix designs better with Solid Edge
This machine tool maker specializes on electrical discharge machining (EDM) equipment including special-purpose drill machines and metal arc disintegrators. With an expanding amount of design data due to the productivity of its new CAD system, Sparkonix added Teamcenter Rapid Start to manage it. The results included a 25 percent reduced design time, enablement of designers to spend less time storing, searching and retrieving data, and a reduction in inventory by standardizing on a limited number of parts. Both Solid Edge and Teamcenter Rapid Start come from Siemens PLM Software.
